On October 30, 2025, the Chief Executive Officer of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wang Zhou, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Consular Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Yuan Yuan Ming, jointly presided over the Thirteenth Round of Consular Consultations in Chongqing, China.

The two sides agreed to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties and two countries, take more positive measures, provide safer and more convenient conditions for personnel exchanges between the two sides, serve bilateral cooperation in various fields, further consolidate the public opinion foundation of Sino-Vietnamese friendship, and help the development of China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership.
