Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zakharova said on October 30 that the upcoming eighth China International Import Expo in Shanghai will provide new opportunities for Russia to expand economic and trade cooperation with China.

In response to a question from Xinhua News Agency at a regular press conference on the same day, zakharova said that China International Import Expo provides more opportunities for Russian entrepreneurs and business people to help them show their achievements, expand business ties with China, find reliable partners and enter the international market.

The demand for Russian products in the Chinese market is stable, especially for agricultural products, industrial and information technology products and high-tech equipment.

Zakharova also said that the multilateral trading system plays a vital role in maintaining global economic stability. In her view, "despite a series of sanctions and the pressure of US trade policy", the scale of China's foreign trade continues to grow, "showing strong economic vitality".
