On October 30, South Korea¡¯s President Li Jinping met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, whom he visited on May 30 in South Korea. The two sides agreed that bilateral pragmatic cooperation should continue to be expanded.

The two sides agreed that coordination should be further strengthened in areas such as advanced technology, economic security, cultural and social exchanges.

According to another Yonhap News Agency report, Takashi expressed the hope to strengthen cooperation between the two countries on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea this year, and at the same time strengthen bilateral relations and trilateral coordination between Japan, the United States and South Korea.
