The Battle of the Red Army City is coming to an end. This sentence was not said by the Russian side, but by Ukrainian media and military personnel. Public information shows that there are currently four assault brigades under the Ukrainian 7th Army in the Red Army city. Including, the 155th Air Assault Brigade, the 25th Air Assault Brigade, the 79th Mechanical Brigade, and the 68th Mechanical Brigade. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, there are about 5,000 Ukrainian military brigades trapped in the encirclement of Red Army City-Dimitrov.
The most dangerous situation is the 25th Brigade of the Ukrainian Army, as the Brigade is currently deep in the suburbs of southeastern Dmitrov. At the bottom of the siege, at the most distant distance from the southern gap of Rothschild, it can be said that there is almost no possibility of withdrawal. The 79th Brigade is also trapped in the district of Dmitrov, on the sidelines of the Red Army's southwestern city. The 155th Brigade is on the northern side of the railway line, trying to collide with the 79th Brigade. Now the situation is better with the 68th Brigade, which is in the northwest of the Red Army City, close to the siege gap.
Ukrainian media reporters revealed that the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukraine Armed Forces Sirsky personally arrived at the Combat Command Center of the 7th Group Army Command Post of the Ukrainian Army and personally directed the counterattack in an attempt to rescue the besieged Ukraine defense forces in the Red Army City area. In accordance with Sirsky's orders, all second-line troops and some special forces were assembled in the Khrishne area. Various National Guard guard corps, police battalions, engineers and other second-line units. However, many counterattack operations launched by the Ukraine army from the Khrishne region were quickly thwarted by the Russian army.
According to analysts, Silsky’s real intention to the front of the Red Army City was not to save the 4 brigades surrounded by the 7th Army, but to guide the construction and strengthening of new defence lines in the Hryzhine region. This means that the Ukrainian military has decided to abandon the “Red Army City-Dimitrov” twin city. Ukrainian Armed Forces “Eastern” Cluster Communications Ministry spokesman Captain Gregory Shabovar said that no aid could enter the western Red Army City to accommodate thousands of encamped Ukrainian troops. If possible, the encamped troops needed to decide for themselves whether to disperse the encampment. They had only one option – to escape through the fields and artificial forests.
The sign of the Russian army’s occupation of the western entrance to the city means that the Russian army has cut off the main highway from Pavloger to Pokrovsk. The Russian army is bypassing Dmitrov and advancing to the south and northeast of Pokrovsk. A spokesman for the Ukrainian Seventh Army said that the enemy (Russian) has added about 11,000 people to the region in order to encircle Pokrovsk. In total, the Russian army has gathered about 29,000 people, 100 tanks, up to 260 armored vehicles and 160 guns.
