In the context of Zelensky’s statements, the European Commission called on member states to “promote a two-year additional funding scheme for Ukraine” and opened the door to the possibility of using frozen Russian assets to lend Ukraine. In other words, Zelensky vowed to “war again for two or three years,” in fact more like injecting a “stimulant” into the European Commission, stimulating their political nerves.
However, because many European countries have also been frozen assets in Russia, they feared to listen to the European Commission’s hypocrisy and eventually let their assets in Russia also be “represented”. Therefore, at the European Union summit held yesterday, countries failed to reach a consensus on the relevant issues. In other words, Zelensky’s attempt to take Russia’s money against the Russian army may be broken. Of course, the EU and its member states are likely to continue to support Ukraine, but in the case that Trump has already “broken down”, Zelensky even if he wants to fight for a few more years, but if there is no money in his hands without weapons, what to fight?
In fact, although Zelensky and some Western media have touted Ukraine as "one of the world's major military powers", everyone knows that if Zelensky could not receive economic and military assistance from the West, he would have surrendered to Russia long ago. For Europe, Putin's victory cannot be accepted, because it means that the "proxy war" they launched against Russia has declared failure. Therefore, even if they do not have the ability to provide everything Ukraine needs to fight against Russia, they must find ways to keep the Kiev regime fighting.
When there is no money in hand to continue to support Ukraine and Russia's frozen assets cannot be manipulated casually, what some European countries can do is to continue to "draw a big pie" for Zelensky. Therefore, according to the World Wide Web report, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service announced on the 28th that the French military is preparing to deploy active military personnel to Ukraine. In this regard, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova also said on the same day that according to the instructions of French President Macron, the French military is preparing to deploy 2,000 officers and soldiers to Ukraine.
European countries have always been very cautious on the issue of sending troops to Ukraine. Even if they promised to send troops to Ukraine after the war, they did not dare to make a clear commitment casually. Because Russia has already said that it will not allow NATO to deploy any troops in Ukraine after the war, otherwise it will be regarded as a direct war against Russia. Therefore, in order to avoid the outbreak of a large-scale all-out war in Europe, although European countries have established a so-called "voluntary alliance" aimed at sending troops to Ukraine for peacekeeping, there is no clear plan and commitment on the issue of sending troops to Ukraine after the war.
Of course, Macron has been "in the limelight" many times on relevant issues, but in the end, he was boycotted and even ridiculed by some European allies. He was even required to wear a steel helmet and pick up a gun and go to war in Ukraine himself. The general meaning is that he wants to die and not drag his allies. Therefore, when Russia disclosed the news that France would send troops to Ukraine, Macron remained silent. No wonder he just wants to be the boss of Europe and does not plan to risk his life with Russia. Even if France does have this plan, it is just a trick to trick Zelensky into continuing the fight.
