On October 29, Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin said that Thailand plans to host a multilateral meeting to invite surrounding countries to discuss the problem of combating cybercrime.

Speaking to media during the ASEAN Summit, Anutin said he had reiterated Thailand¡¯s commitment to fight cybercrime and officially proposed a regional multilateral meeting to tackle cybercrime in a more concrete and resolute way.

Recently, the Thai government has attached great importance to combating cybercrime. Anutin previously said that Thailand has raised the fight against fraud and cybercrime to a "national agenda" and will use all possible means and various forms to actively participate in the international community's actions to combat fraud groups.
