More than 460 patients killed in hospital attack in western Sudan

On October 29, local time, Sudan's Darfur regional leader Minavi said that the city of Fashir, the capital of northern Darfur, is located in the western part of Sudan.The Saudi maternity hospital was attacked by militants on the 28th, killing more than 460 patients receiving treatment in the hospital.

Minawi condemned the attack by the Sudanese Rapid Support Force. The Rapid Support Force has not responded to the statement.

The World Health Organization issued a statement the day before saying that the Saudi maternity hospital was attacked by militants and six medical staff were kidnapped.
