Under the "rolling" operation of the Russian army, it gradually attacked or approached several major towns under Ukrainian control.
Faced with this situation of Russian troops planting flags one after another in all directions, the Ukrainian army headquarters cannot let this happen forever, especially when all the most elite troops are smashed in the Red Army City Theater; At least he must have an explanation to the troops in other directions, even if it is a temporary morale boost.
Against this background, the Ukrainian army withdrew some commandos from the 225th Assault Regiment and the 425th Assault Regiment and drove to war zones such as Bonliman and Zaporizhzhia to launch a "counter-flag planting" operation against the Russian army in person.
Since the troop density on the Russian-Ukrainian front is not too high, there is no tight and fixed line of defense under the current battlefield situation. Therefore, if the Ukrainian army organizes a small commando team to attack resolutely, it can also rush to the area controlled by the Russian army. The question is only whether it can gain a foothold in the future.
But the current situation is that the commandos transferred by the Ukrainian army are not seeking to gain a foothold, as long as they can rush in and plant flags to punch in and promote it.
In these circumstances, the Ukrainian Army’s 425th Assault Corps suddenly unleashed material from the small town of Tolsk in the direction of the department’s “squared” Redlemans and placed its flags there.
In the accompanying document, the 425th Assault Regiment said that the Assault Regiment had cleared Tolsk and destroyed as many as 100 Russian troops.
At the same time, in the video released by the regiment, there are relevant images of fighting and flag planting. Of course, there are also images of Russian prisoners leaving the country caught during counterattacks in the direction of Red Army City and Zaporizhzhia.
Therefore, it cannot be denied that the Ukrainian Army’s 425th Assault Regiment under resource inclination indeed has attack capabilities, which is relatively rare in the current Ukrainian army.
But the ministry's way of operating is "a grip", and it often claims to be the first half of its own assault, rather than the latter half.
In fact, the 425th Commando Regiment did not have the ability to firmly control the assault area after a sudden attack. Therefore, either the incoming team was subsequently eliminated, or it suffered heavy losses and retreated. Anyway, it was difficult to stably control the assault area.
For the Battle of Tolstoy, the settlement was located east of the Theresbeck River, with a pre-war population of more than 1,600 people, and is considered a "small town" level in the east.
This settlement is a long and narrow village, with a length of more than 9 kilometers from north to south, even longer than dividend Manchester City, and is close to the edge of the Rerebezi River.
When the Ukrainian army just released the news that the Russian army had "shut down" in Tolsk, the outside world did not really matter.
Because Kirovsk opposite Torsk (also called Zarichny, with a pre-war population of nearly 2,700 people) is now basically in the hands of the Russians.
So the Ukrainians were to “sweep” Tolsky, they had to first pass through Kievsk, or penetrate the forest belt from the east to the east, to circumvent the southern border of Kievsk (which is also the Ukrainian route actually chosen), and then cross the river to Tolsk.
Because the strength density of the Russian and Ukrainian armies on the contact line is not high, if the Ukrainian army organizes elite commandos to break through, it can still pass through. However, the problem is that it will be neither easy to consolidate nor withdraw after the past. This is the true sense of the "backwater battle, the center blooms".
Once the Russian army knew that the Ukrainian army was coming, it would be very simple to mobilize forces to clear up.
So not long after the 425th Ukrainian assault regiment placed the flag of Zezir, the Russians released the Ukrainian troops, beat the bodies of their assault troops and captured the video of their personnel.
Obviously, the assault group failed to retreat after the flag, was blocked by the Russians of Kirovsk and Tolsk and eventually fled back to a few.
The most ironic thing is that the high-profile flag hung by the 425th Commando Regiment in Torsk was also captured by the Russian army, which made it very embarrassing.
In fact, can such a situation be expected? The Ukrainian army itself should know it, but knowing that this will ultimately be the case, why did it still do it?
The key point is: public opinion and morale.
For the country that is extremely dependent on foreign aid in Ukraine, if the news of being occupied and flagged comes to the front, it will seriously shake Kim’s confidence in itself, thereby affecting subsequent aid.
So Ukraine must prove that it has the ability to counter-attack the other, although the assault is temporary, but at least a wave of public opinion, right?
And for the morality of the people within Ukraine, also need some victories to support, who can endure the old defeat?
If the information is guided by control, even that many people see only the news of the victory of the Ukrainian army, and the second half of the scene of being beaten with dead bodies is simply not seen, then at least in the public opinion space, this is a pure win.
Thus, in the future, such troops as the 425th Assault Corps will attempt to carry out such attacks in units and ranks at various points throughout the front.
Therefore, there is no need to think that the 425th Commando Regiment is constantly "conquering from the east to the west". In fact, it has already divided its troops long ago, and creating a "victory" that can be publicized will be its main task for some time to come.
