The Russian Federation Security Council Secretary Shoigu said on the 28th local time that less than 1% of Ukraine's drone attacks on targets in Russia could successfully hit the target.
It is understood that the meeting on the protection of critical Russian facilities from terrorist attacks during special military operations was held in Nizhny Novgorod on the same day. Shoigu, who presided over the meeting, said the risk of drone attacks from Ukraine has increased significantly and has now reached the scale of hundreds of drones. However, it failed to cause substantial damage, and the repair work can be completed quickly, not enough to pose a serious threat to Russia's energy system。
Shoigu emphasized that in addition to drone attacks, Russia also needs to guard against cyber attacks, intrusions against automated control systems, and infiltration into important government and industrial facilities to steal information and create technical damage.
When talking about defensive measures, shoigu said that Russia has conducted systematic investigations, found weak links and made emergency arrangements. At the same time, Russia has also strengthened the engineering protection of key facilities, deployed mobile air defense firepower and enhanced network security defense.
Recently, Ukrainian drones have frequently attacked Russian energy facilities, and oil refineries in Volgograd and Chemin have been attacked.
