The Venezuelan National Armed Forces reported that,An aircraft has been "intercepted and detained" for entering the airspace of Apure State, which borders Colombia, without permission.

Venezuela's national armed forces said the aircraft was from the Caribbean, did not comply with the scheduled flight plan, and flew to southern Venezuela after shutting down the response aircraft, cut off communications, and illegally entered Venezuela's airspace.

After radar detection, the target was triangularly positioned and intercepted by the Venezuelan air defense forces and military aircraft. It was confirmed that the aircraft was a Cessna 310 type aircraft with the registration number XBRED. After landing on an unauthorized border runway, Venezuelan military personnel abolished it for exercising national sovereignty.
