On October 28, the Palestinian Ministry of Health issued a statement saying that the Israeli military killed three Palestinians on the northern West Bank that day.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement on the same day, saying that two of the dead were members of the organization, and they died after an exchange of fire with the Israeli army in Good Village.

The Israeli Defense Forces said in a statement that the Israeli military launched a "counter-terrorist operation" on the same day in the Ghouta village, locking armed men hiding in a cave, killing three people.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Israeli army has continued to carry out large-scale military operations in the northern West Bank. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs released a report on the 23rd, saying that the Israeli army has stepped up its operations in the Jenin area of the West Bank since September 25th, conducting frequent patrols and raids, including searching commercial and residential buildings.
