According to statistics released by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association on 28 October, the U.S. electric car brand Tesla registered 3,9837 new cars in Europe in September, a decrease of 10.5% in comparison. The association's statistics cover the European Union as well as the United Kingdom, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Within the European Union, Tesla's new car registrations fell nearly 19% year-on-year in September; in the first nine months of this year, it fell 38.7% year-on-year, and its market share fell to 1.4%. Although Tesla has accelerated delivery in the European market due to concerns about the impact of U.S. tariffs, recent sales remained poor.In order to increase product attractiveness, the company has recently improved its product line and launched refined versions of the Model Y and Model 3 models. The data also showed that the EU electric car market continued to improve in September, with sales of pure electric vehicles increasing by 20 percent, sales of hybrid vehicles increasing by 15.9 percent, and sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles increasing by 65.4 percent. China's electric vehicles won a growing European consumer favour with a rich product portfolio and high cost ratio. In September, Biady registered 24,963 new cars in Europe, up four times.
