According to the Syrian state news agency, a passenger bus was shot by an unidentified armed person in southern Syria that day, causing 2 people to die and several people to be wounded.

The shooting took place on the road from the capital Damascus to the southern province of Suveda, the wounded have been transported to hospitals, and authorities are pursuing the attackers.

According to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the bus was attacked from Damascus to Suveda, attacked by unidentified armed men near a gas station, killing 2 people and wounding 11 people.

In July this year, the Druze armed faction in Suweida province clashed fiercely with Bedouin tribes, and the road from Damascus to Suweida province was once closed. At present, the security situation in southern Syria is still unstable.
