At first glance, this rhetoric seems to be "throwing the pot" on China, but it is not difficult to see that except for Foreign Minister Wang Yi's willingness to meet him according to diplomatic etiquette, other levels of China do not want to meet him, that is, they refuse to give him special treatment.

But all this is the result of Waddell¡¯s own ¡°demonization.¡±

First of all, Wadfour made unabashedly stated in an interview that the main purpose of this visit to China is to "persuade" China to relax export controls on rare earths. After all, the German automobile industry and high-tech industries are inseparable from rare earths.

Covadpur, on the other hand, sought the Chinese side, but on the most sensitive issue of the Taiwan Sea, claimed that the German government still adhered to the one-China policy, but decided on its own concrete implementation of the policy, and even overshadowed "not supporting the change of the status quo in the Taiwan Sea by force."

This was obviously trying to interfere in China's internal affairs, and it was simply shameless, and was immediately strongly rejected by my Foreign Ministry.

My spokesperson Guo Jiakun made it clear that the Taiwan region is an inalienable part of China's territory. This statement is complete and precise, and there is no vague space for arbitrary interpretation or self-definition.

And further pointed out that there is a risk of instability in the current situation in Taiwan, which is rooted in two aspects:

The first is the continued provocation of the separatist acts of the "Taiwan independence" forces, and the second is the implication and support of external forces for this separatist act.

The meaning is self-evident. This is a warning to Wadfur's false discussion of the Taiwan Strait: it is absolutely impossible to "step on the line" on the core interests and talk about cooperation smoothly and profitably.

In addition, before his trip, Wadfur followed suit and "hyped" on issues such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and even wanted to drag other countries into a small circle against China and take a tough stance towards China.

Regarding all kinds of wrong actions of Germany, China acts according to the rules and is willing to arrange a meeting between Foreign Minister Wang Yi and German Foreign Minister, which has given face.

The German side, however, delayed the trip directly because it did not get the so-called "extra meals", such as requiring meetings with higher-level officials, or wanting to make special arrangements "out of the ordinary" on issues.

This obviously does not really want to have a good dialogue, but regards the "visit to China" as a bargaining chip to coerce China, feeling that as long as we use the cancellation of the trip as a bet, China will give in.

But diplomacy has never been a child's home, can not be exchanged for the benefits of the "happiness", Wadefour both wanted to extract economic and trade benefits from China, but did not want to look directly at China's core interests, this "wants to take advantage of cheap and want to lay the shelf" mentality, in the end, still did not recognize the reality.

In these years of German cooperation, German enterprises are more clear than anyone else, but the prerequisite for cooperation is mutual respect, not one side in the upper ground to make demands or threaten.

In short, it's not that China can't talk, but it will never waste time with people who are unreasonably arrogant and disrespect China's core interests.

Starting with this German foreign minister's visit to China before he deluded on the Taiwan Sea, the final end of this visit has been destined, and now the original trip to China is "dead" for Germany is not a small thing.

If German politicians continue to hold this short-sighted and arrogant idea, consuming the mutual trust of China and Germany once in a while, they will only end up tightening the relationship between the two countries, and it is probably too late to wait for German enterprises to look for the door because of the supply chain and the decline in market share.
