On October 28 local time, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Peskov commented on the possibility of resuming negotiations with Ukraine and pointed out,The Russian side is currently unable to assess the prospect of resuming talks.As the former Russian side has repeatedly stressed, the fundamental reason for the suspension of negotiations is the lack of willingness of Ukraine to continue the dialogue.

He pointed out that Ukraine was reluctant to respond to questions raised by Russia, ignored draft documents submitted by Russia and recommendations from working groups on further work models, all of which were not answered.
