At the delivery ceremony of the 25th and 26th medical teams at the Maputo Center Hospital, Yisey said that the Chinese government continued to help Mozambique cope with the challenges facing the health sector, making the health system more robust in the face of major epidemics and capable of providing better services to the people.

Ise said that the China medical team showed a high degree of professionalism during its mission in Mozambique and provided patients with high-quality and humanistic care medical services.

Zheng Xuan, China's ambassador to Mozambique, said that China-Mozambique medical and health cooperation is an important part of bilateral relations. Since the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in 2024, China and Mozambique have reached a number of exchanges and cooperation results in the field of medical and health.

China has continued to send foreign aid medical teams to Mozambique since 1976. Since the 25th batch of medical teams arrived in Mozambique in July 2024, they have carried out a large number of outpatient, surgical and remote consultation work, provided free clinics for local people many times, actively promoted personnel exchanges and training, and promoted the implementation of the China-Mozambique health and medical cooperation mechanism project.

At the handover ceremony, the Ministry of Health of Mozambique awarded honorary certificates to the members of the 25th medical team to aid Mozambique.
