Not long ago, news of the Palestinian-Israeli ceasefire finally came, but 71 foreign lives could no longer wait for the day they would return home.
They are laborers and nursing workers who farm the land, making a living with hope, but they fall into the war. Nowadays, many countries gather to mourn. Hidden in the candlelight is the regret for the dead and the yearning for peace.
Among them, four Chinese compatriots remind us that the alarm bell of peace is ringing.
After the ceasefire.
This tragedy began on October 7, 2023. On that day, Hamas suddenly launched a raid on Israel codenamed "Al-Aqsa Flood", triggering the Gaza War. Only recently did a ceasefire be achieved with international mediation.
