An explosion at an underground mine in Australia killed two people and injured one

Australia's New South Wales state police issued a statement on October 28 that an explosion in an underground mine in the western inland area of the state, which has now caused two people to die and one to be wounded.

The statement said that about 3.45 a.m. on the same day, emergency rescue departments received a police alert, saying that a mine accident occurred near the town of Kobal, about 560 kilometers northwest of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, and two people were seriously injured. After the police arrived, it was that a man had died in the explosion; two women were rescued to the ground, one of whom died, the other woman was hearing damaged and shocked, and was taken to hospital by a helicopter.

The police said they would assist the occupational health and safety regulatory agency in investigating the cause of the accident.

It is reported that the "Endeavour Mine" where the explosion occurred is an underground silver, zinc and lead mine belonging to an Australia mining company.
