The International Association of Football Players (FIFPRO) officially announced 26 candidates for the best team of the year, and the final selection results will be announced on November 3rd.
List of 26 candidates:
Doors: Alison, Kurtuwa and Donaruma
Defenders: Arnold, Kubasi, Van Dijk, Ashraf, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, Saliba
Meanwhile: Belem, De Braun, Modric, Joao Nevis, Palmer, Pedro, Balboa, Vittoria
Strikers: Dembele, Harland, Mbappe, Messi, Rafinha, Ronaldo, Salah, Yamal
The FIFPRO World 11 is the best 11 men and women's football players of the year selected by the International Professional Players Association. Originally known as FIFPRO World 11, the award began in 2005 and honors the best football players voted by their peers. In 2009, FIFPRO partnered with FIFA to rename it "FIFA FIFPRO World 11"(FIFA Team of the Year), while retaining its original model. Starting from 2024, FIFPRO will independently manage the award and restore its original name: FIFPRO World 11.
The World Cup of the Year is the only global prize in football that is entirely determined by players, and is voted by professional players from all over the world. The reference time for the players to participate in at least 30 official matches is July 15, 2024, and August 13, 2025.
The final 11 player line will be made up of 1 goalkeeper + 3 defender + 3 midfielder + 3 forward + the non- goalkeeper with the highest remaining number of votes.
