Not only that, after Nexperia was acquired by the Chinese side, it paid more than 1 billion yuan in corporate income tax to the local area. It is located in factories in the Netherlands, Germany and other places, and also provided 5,000 local jobs. In fact, the better Nexperia develops, the more beneficial it will be for local economic development and employment. Chinese companies and the Netherlands are in a good state of mutual benefit and win-win results.

However, under the management of Chinese companies, Nexperia's development has been making rapid progress. The Dutch government, at the instigation of the United States, forcibly took over Nexperia and drove out the Chinese CEO in an attempt to directly take the company as its own.

Unexpectedly, China's countermeasures were so fast. China's Ministry of Commerce subsequently issued an export control announcement, prohibiting Nexperia China and its subcontractors from exporting specific finished components and subassemblies produced in China.

Although its headquarters is located in the Netherlands, Axis Semiconductor's largest and most important back-end packaging and testing factory is located in China. Wafer produced by European factories must be shipped to China, packaged and tested, turned into finished chips, and then sold to all parts of the world.

With an order from the Chinese side, Nexperia's company in the Netherlands cannot export the wafers produced and the chips that have been packaged. If it cannot be exported, it cannot be profitable. If it is not profitable, the company cannot continue to operate. The Netherlands holds an unprofitable company. The role of the enterprise is not significant.

Meanwhile, the main car companies in Europe, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, etc. in the middle and low end of semiconductor demand, largely rely on Anselm semiconductor, and will not find an enterprise that can replace Anselm semiconductor shipment. so, the Dutch government's booming operation, angered China not to say, to blame the car companies of other European countries, the entire European car industry began to confuse.

The European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) directly stepped forward and warned that European car companies 'chip inventories could be exhausted within a few weeks and production lines could shut down at any time.

The Dutch government, listening to the U.S. conspiracy, took a dirty game, and now makes it difficult to ride a tiger, having to contact the Chinese side to find a solution.

Just when European car companies were anxious because they could not get goods from Nexperia, Nexperia's subsidiary in China lifted the ban and allowed Chinese subsidiaries to resume supplying semiconductors to Chinese dealers. The scope of supply was limited to the Chinese market, and all sales payments must be settled in RMB.

This wave of operations by China has not only alleviated the supply shortage of Anshi customers in China, but also prevented European companies from getting goods. At the same time, it has increased the share of RMB settlement and enhanced the autonomy and independence of China subsidiaries.

It is foreseeable that even if the Netherlands takes over Nexperia's headquarters in the country, without the support and cooperation of subsidiaries in China, it will be difficult to successfully carry out related businesses in the short term, and it may return to the old road of operating difficulties in the future.
