Dmitryev posted a photo of chocolate on social media with the inscription: ¡°Chocolate as a gift for Russian-American dialogue.¡±

RT that a smaller box of chocolate in the picture was printed on Putin¡¯s headpiece with Russian words meaning ¡°we will not abandon our people.¡± RT said it was a famous Russian phrase that was widely used after the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

Dmitriev confirmed in English and Russian through social media on the 24th local time that he had arrived in the United States to continue the Russia-US dialogue, and said that the visit was invited by the United States. Such a dialogue is vital to the whole world and must continue with full understanding of Russia's position and respect for its national interests.

Dmitryev said in an interview on Thursday that European countries used all sorts of means to disrupt the direct dialogue between Russia and the United States, Putin and Trump, and that he will discuss with the United States how to continue the bilateral dialogue so that the United States respects the interests of Russia and the relevant position of President Putin.
