On the morning of October 26, local time, the 47th ASEAN Summit and related summit officially opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The theme of this summit is ¡°Inclusiveness and Sustainability¡±.The summit series includes the ASEAN Summit, the ASEAN + 1 Summit with seven dialogue partners (Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea, Russia and the United States respectively), and the ASEAN + 3 Summit, the East Asia Summit, the ASEAN-UN Summit and the commemorative summit held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of ASEAN-New Zealand Dialogue Relations.
