On the 25th local time, the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada issued a joint statement on the Ukraine issue. It is understood that Ukraine, together with 14 countries including Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy, as well as 17 parties including the European Union and the European Council, jointly issued this statement.

The statement said that all sides aspire to a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.The sides firmly support an immediate ceasefire and the starting point of negotiations with existing lines of contact.The sides always adhere to the principle that international borders must not be changed by force.
