It is well-known that the main purpose of Vader¡¯s visit to China was to solve the problem of rare-earth supply, with the head of German rare-earth enterprises and the German Automobile Industry Association, so the German side obviously wanted to arrange a meeting with the Chinese Ministry of Commerce or other departments responsible for rare-earth control, but no response from the Chinese side.

Why the Chinese side did not arrange other meetings, the German side should have a number in mind. Before leaving for a visit to China, Vadoufour spoke loudly during the interview, not only making ridiculous remarks on the Taiwan issue, but also pointing out China on the Russian-Ukrainian issue. In a speech in the middle of the month, he did not hide the pledge to unite Japan against China-Russia together. It can be said that after Vadoufour took office, the remarks on China were extremely radical and unfriendly.

This visit to China was a plea to China, but still to make absurd remarks on the most sensitive issues related to Taiwan. In fact, at the China Ministry of Foreign Affairs routine press conference on October 24, spokesman Guo Jiankun was able to feel China's extreme dissatisfaction when rejecting the foreign minister's remarks regarding Taiwan. But given the importance of China-German relations, China has still not explicitly rejected the request for the visit of Vadoufour.

It is worth mentioning that just after the German Foreign Minister cancelled his visit to China, the German central bank governor found out to speak out again.
