Li in Ming warned Southeast Asian fraud group: don't touch Koreans, otherwise you will be destroyed; before college students were tortured to death

According to World Wide Web, South Korea's "Central Daily News" reported on October 24, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung held an inter-departmental meeting on the 23rd and ordered a crackdown on fraud groups that committed crimes against Koreans.

Li said: "If the future international crime organization dares to touch Koreans, or involve them in crime, I want to let them know that the end is only death."

Li’s speech reflects the South Korean government’s determination to establish a systematic, full-fledged, transnational crime countermechanism.

According to reference sources, Yonhap News Agency reported on October 12 that South Korean President Lee Jae-ming instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to respond to the successive crimes of recruitment, deception, kidnapping and detention of South Korean citizens in Cambodia on the 11th to make every effort to respond through diplomatic channels to ensure the safety of citizens.

Interested persons in the Presidential Chamber said that Li had given the above instructions after receiving a recent report on crimes in Cambodia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has continued to cooperate with Cambodia and has taken a number of measures to respond further if necessary.

According to the report, on the 8th of this month, Korean college student A was tortured to death by criminal gangs in Cambodia. South Korean Foreign Minister Zhao Xian summoned the Cambodian ambassador to South Korea the day before yesterday, expressed solemn concern about the incident and urged Cambodia to take countermeasures. At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a special travel warning for Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.

South Korea issues four-level warnings of blue, yellow, red and black based on the risk level of tourist destinations from low to high. Special tourism warnings are mainly issued to deal with short-term risks, between yellow (travel cautiously) and red (evacuation recommended) warnings, valid for 90 days.
