Unexpectedly, the advanced technology that claims to connect all mankind has actually become a sharp weapon for fraudsters. In the past two months, the Myanmar National Defense Forces have carried out continuous clean-up operations against the electronic fraud park on the Myanmar side of the Myanmar-Thailand border. In the KK park in Karen State, 30 sets of "Starlink" receivers and accessories were seized. How did this advanced system built by Musk's SpaceX appear here?

As is well known, this year, China has led Myanmar and Thailand to several operations to strike the border with Myanmar's e-fraud parks, as well as pressure on the Myanmar militia to completely eradicate the parks, with results that 7,000 people have been released.
One of the important measures is to disconnect the grid. After all, the fraudsters can generate electricity themselves, but the grid is not a way. The result is unthinkable, the Chinese side is struggling to hit, Musk's "star chain" again gave the fraudsters order, and the scale is bigger than before.
Satellite images show that among the 27 fraud parks in Myowadi, Myanmar, many buildings have sprung up, and the largest KK Park has added a large area in just seven months. On the roof, there were densely packed star chain receivers. Data shows that in February this year, Star Chain's traffic in Myanmar was almost negligible, and in July, it actually ranked first in the country, which means that Star Chain has become the "main force" of the electronic fraud park.
It is also very interesting to say that these electronic fraud parks are located in the deep mountains and old forests on the border of Myanmar, originally because the communication there is inconvenient and the government can't control it. But now, several "Starlink" have been set up on the roof, which is not only fast, but also unregulated. Doesn't this mean that an information superhighway has been built for fraud groups?

However, SpaceX clearly has terms of service that prohibit the use of equipment for illegal activities. How did these terminals cross thousands of mountains and rivers and accurately flow into the hands of fraud parks?
I think it should be in March this year. After the 7.9-magnitude earthquake occurred in Myanmar, due to backward communication equipment, Musk donated some Starlink to ease the rescue pressure in Myanmar. However, the subsequent development was out of his control. Of course, it was not ruled out that Musk did it intentionally.
As early as July this year, the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress launched an investigation into Starlink to see if it did serve the Burmese fraud park. The U.S. Treasury Department also imposed financial sanctions on electronic fraud groups active in Southeast Asia. In short, the actions and attitudes of the US side are basically there, but what is the effect?
First, most of these parks are operated by criminal groups in partnership with local militias in Myanmar, which provide them with protection and share profits. That is to say, two cleansings at once do not hurt their roots, and financial sanctions are no longer a problem.
Secondly, during Trump's first term, Star Link was a key support project. To this day, it can be said that Trump has a share of the credit. After returning to the White House, he also relied heavily on Star Chain. Even if he broke with Musk, he did not touch Star Chain. This does not rule out a chain of interests, but it is more likely that the United States is under the "technological hegemony" strategy. The "acquiescence" of equipment flowing into the gray market has objectively contributed to the arrogance of the fraud park.
The two broke up without touching the star chain
What is even more alarming is that the "StarChain + Scam" pattern is rapidly replicating, from Cambodia to Laos, from Africa to the Middle East, with the same tricks repeatedly taking place, scammers using the most advanced American technology, hiding in the most chaotic jurisdictional blind areas, cheating for wealth from the people's hands, while companies that provide technology are foolish.
The most terrifying revelation of this is that when technology loses boundaries and morality loses constraints, each of us may become the next victim. Today these signals help scam in the Myanmar jungle, and tomorrow may promote more serious crime elsewhere.
