On October 24, local time,Central journalistIt was that a man crashed into a highway in Virginia while escaping the pursuit of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) and was killed by a vehicle.
Preliminary investigations showed that he escaped after being intercepted by ICE. Virginia Police said they were not involved in the pursuit and were solely responsible for handling traffic accidents. This was the second case in two months where people were killed on the road because of escaping ICE law enforcement.
