Indian police said a private bus burned in the morning of 24 local time after colliding with a two-wheeled bus on the way from Hyderabad to Bangalore, killing 12 people.

Preliminary reports showed there were about 40 passengers on board. Eighteen of the passengers have been confirmed alive. Police said that the accident occurred at around 3:30 on the 24th. When the accident occurred, there was heavy rainfall in the area, which may be one of the reasons for the collision between the bus and the two-wheeled vehicle.
