At a rally held in Budapest on October 23, Hungarian Prime Minister Orban reiterated the Hungarian government's refusal to accept Ukraine's accession to the European Union, while criticizing the EU's investments in huge amounts of money for Ukraine.

On the same day, Orban said at a rally in the ex-Kosut square of the Hungarian parliament that Ukraine could be a strategic partner of the EU, but the Hungarian government does not want Ukraine to join the EU and they cannot be either a member of our military alliance or a member of our economic alliance.

Orban emphasized that Hungary is on the side of peace. He criticized the EU for investing huge amounts of money in Ukraine and said that Hungary is a strong and dignified sovereign country."We will not fight for Ukraine, we will not die for Ukraine, we will only live for Hungary."

Orban also urged his supporters to remain united before next year's general election.Opinion polls show that the competition for next year's Hungarian general election will be fairly fierce due to the respect of Mao Petros leadership and the rise of the Liberal Party.

Hungary is a member of the EU and NATO.Orban has always questioned Western military aid to Ukraine, while not supporting Ukraine¡¯s accession to the EU.
