According to sources close to the Thai government, the Thai authorities have detained more than 150 multinational foreigners who fled fraud companies and are arranging accommodation for more people who could subsequently flood.
A person living in the city of Mekko, Thailand, who refused to disclose his name, said: “In Mekko area, more than 100 foreigners fleeing Myanmar have arrived, and we’ve heard about 2,000 are about to arrive.”
It is understood that the fugitives include people engaged in online fraud, online casinos and online sex services, and practitioners in other businesses still exist. In addition, cleaners, chefs, security guards, construction workers, etc., mainly engaged by Burmese, also fled.
Regarding this matter, a Mizma reporter said that when observing the KK-Park park from the Thai side, he saw that there was no sign of activity in the buildings there, and it was silent.
