After attending the meeting, Natapong said that the meeting made significant progress on a number of key issues. The two sides agreed to: withdraw heavy weapons from conflict areas and supervise their implementation by the ASEAN Observer Group; formulate standard operating procedures for border mine clearance and launch joint demining operations; establish a joint special operations team to crack down on cross-border cyber fraud crimes; jointly survey the boundaries of border villages in Sha Kao Prefecture and rectify border order. Natapong emphasized that these measures will protect the safety of people's lives and property in border areas and lay the foundation for bilateral relations and regional peace. He said: "Thailand expects Cambodia to strictly implement the outcomes of the meeting and jointly bring peace and tranquility to the two peoples."

The meeting also decided that the third special meeting of the Cambodian-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) will be held within 90 days or in Cambodia if necessary.
