Guo Jiakun said that the International Court of Justice issued an advisory opinion on the case of Palestinian humanitarian assistance, clearly determining that Israel has the obligation to cooperate with the United Nations and its agencies to ensure humanitarian assistance to the occupied Palestinian territory, which responded to the general concerns and expectations of the international community.

As a responsible major country, China actively participated in the court trial process, submitted written opinions and appeared in court to make oral statements, comprehensively stating its position on important international law issues. These positions have been fully reflected in the advisory opinion issued by the court. We will continue to constructively participate in international legal affairs, safeguard international fairness and justice with practical actions, and promote the progress of international rule of law.
