According to the newspaper, Seville faces financial pressure and urgently needs Barcelona to pay 24.5 million Euro transfer fees.
Seville remains the lowest in the West Coast due to the salary cap limit (only slightly above 22 million euros), and the club has an urgent need to ease its financial situation to reach the balance of payments and restore normal withdrawal. Sports director Antonio-Cordeo has had to strengthen the lineup on the transfer market only by renting and free players.
In addition, Seville was forced to sell two core players: Lucas and Bardem. Lucas transferred to Benfica for about 20 million euros, while Bardem joined Lewandowski for 25 million euros.
It is worth mentioning that Conde's transfer fee may exceed the sum of Lukbakio and Badai. Barcelona promised to pay a basic transfer fee of 50 million euros plus a floating bonus of 12.5 million euros, of which 7.5 million euros have been cashed. However, so far Barcelona has only paid a little more than half of the fee.
After three years in Barcelona and a renewal until 2030, the club still owes Seville €24.5 million and will pay an additional €5 million if Conte plays more than half of the game in the next two seasons.
This money is almost equivalent to another transfer income for Sevilla. The club is counting on the added value of young players such as Vargas, Carmona, Akor Adams, and Agumé. Especially Agume, Premier League teams have a strong interest in it and may even sell it in January next year.
