According to reports, Timur Ivanov was born in 1975. He was a young general favored by Putin. He served as deputy governor of Moscow Oblast from 2012 to 2016 and was the deputy of then governor Shoygu. After Shoygu was appointed Russian Defense Minister, Ivanov subsequently moved to the military to serve as Russian Deputy Defense Minister in 16 years, mainly responsible for the financial management, camp construction, housing and medical projects of the Russian army.
