According to media reports such as the British Independent newspaper, the Royal Navy issued a statement on 22nd that a British destroyer was tracking a Russian military ship crossing the English Strait.

The Royal Navy released an action picture on the same day, saying that the British destroyer "Dunkin" was monitoring Russian warships under NATO command, and another British helicopter participated in the operation and provided air support.
