On Monday, the U.S. Treasury announced that it would impose sanctions on two major Russian oil companies, including Russian Petroleum Corporation and Lukas Petroleum Corporation.

The U.S. Treasury has also sanctioned a number of subsidiaries of the two companies in Russia, and all entities that directly or indirectly own 50% or more of the two companies will be sanctioned.
