On October 22, local time, Denmark, the rotating presidency of the European Union, announced that,EU member states approve 19th round of sanctions against Russia, sanctions include banning the import of Russian liquefied natural gas.

The sanctions also added travel restrictions for Russian diplomats and included 117 ships in the list of the Russian Shadow Fleet.
