The time has come for Netanyahu’s liquidation, with U.S. allies taking the lead in the arrest and hundreds of countries implementing it.

A ceasefire agreement was reached in the Gaza Strip, but the crimes committed by Israel will not disappear. The team that liquidates Netanyahu has not only not been disbanded due to the easing of the conflict, but has become longer and longer.

Canadian Prime Minister Carney has made it clear that as long as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu dares to enter Canada, the country will not hesitate to arrest him.

This directly annoyed Netanyahu’s administration, asking Canada to withdraw the relevant remarks, “welcoming” the arrival of the Israeli prime minister.

Some people may wonder why Canada is at odds with Israel? Why should they dare to arrest leaders of other countries? This will take the time back to a year ago.

Why did Canada arrest the Israeli prime minister?

After Hamas attacked Israel in October 2023, the Israeli army launched a seven-month military operation in Gaza. According to investigations by the United Nations and the International Criminal Court (ICC), the Israeli army committed systematic war crimes in Gaza, including deliberately attacking civilians, blocking humanitarian supplies, and using hunger as a method of war. For example, the Israeli army has repeatedly bombed hospitals and schools in Gaza, killing more than 44,000 Palestinians, two-thirds of whom were women and children. What is even more outrageous is that the Israeli army also deliberately destroyed Gaza's electricity, water and medical facilities, putting 2.3 million civilians in desperate straits.

In November 2024, the International Criminal Court officially issued an arrest warrant against Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Garant, accused of committing crimes against humanity and war crimes. As a founding member of the ICC, Canada has a legal obligation to enforce the ruling. Prime Minister Carney’s remarks are not momentary, but represent a zero-tolerance attitude towards war criminals in the international community.

U.S. allies collectively rebel

Canada's actions are not isolated. Among the 27 EU member states, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, etc. have made it clear that they will execute arrest warrants. Even Israel's traditional European allies, Germany and France, have to admit that the ICC's ruling is binding, although they say that the law is "complicated". More ironically, Norway announced in August 2025 that if Netanyahu visited Norway, it would directly arrest him.

Netanyahu originally planned to visit Europe in 2025, but now has to change the route to circumvent all ICC parties. Even the United States is embarrassed: while the Biden administration has publicly condemned the ICC’s ruling as a “hero”, the EU and Canada are not buying bills at all. Moreover, U.S. Republican Senator Lindsay Graham threatens to sanction those who execute the arrest warrants, but this “hegemonistic” pressure instead puts more countries against Israel.

Justice settlement of the international community

Some people may ask, can't Israel, as a sovereign country, refuse to accept the ICC's ruling? The answer is: there are no exceptions to international law. According to the Rome Statute, the ICC has universal jurisdiction over serious crimes such as genocide and crimes against humanity, even if the State involved is not a party. Palestine joined the Rome Statute in 2015, so the ICC has legal jurisdiction over crimes committed in Palestinian territory.

More importantly, the international community has been unbearable for its war crimes against Israel. The independent commission of investigation of the UN Human Rights Council has repeatedly stated that Israeli operations in Gaza constitute a “crime against humanity.”

The situation of Netanyahu.

Netanyahu reacted with only two words to the international community’s liquidation: “Let it go.” He first called the ICC’s ruling “absurd and false” and then announced that Israel would not participate in any investigation. More ridiculously, the Israeli government had set up a “special committee” to try to persuade countries to refuse to enforce the arrest warrants through diplomatic means. But this was obviously in vain — as of October 2025, more than 120 countries had expressed their support.

Netanyahu's dilemma does not stop there. The political crisis in Israel is intensifying. In February 2025, the Israeli Ministry of Defense was besieged by 100,000 people, and protesters demanded that the government stop war crimes and hold Netanyahu accountable. At the same time, the international community's economic sanctions have also begun to show their power: the European Union has suspended some arms exports to Israel, and American companies have also reduced cooperation with Israel for fear of legal risks.

Impact on the situation in the Middle East

On the one hand, the attitude of Arab nations has become harsher: Saudi Arabia, Jordan and other countries have explicitly demanded that Israel be held accountable for war crimes or otherwise will refuse to normalize relations with them. On the other hand, countries such as Iran have used to expand their influence to fight Israel by supporting the Palestinian armed groups.

More importantly, the settlement allowed the “two-state plan” to become an international consensus. United Nations Secretary-General Guterres has repeatedly called for a fundamental settlement of the conflict in Pakistan only if an independent Palestinian state can be established. Even the United States has to adjust its strategy: In October 1925, the Trump administration announced that it will push for a reconciliation agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia, provided that Israel must stop its military operations in Gaza and undergo international supervision.

conclusion

Netanyahu's experience once again proves that in the era of globalization, no country can be above international law. Israel's atrocities in Gaza have not only brought disaster to the Palestinian people, but also plunged itself into unprecedented isolation. As Karim Khan, prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, said: "No one can get away with impunity, whether he is a president or a prime minister."

The settlement also sent an important signal to the world:ining the international order should not depend on hegemony, but on the rule of law. The actions of countries such as Canada, the European Union and others have sparked controversy, but they have practically defended the dignity of international law. For Netanyahu, there are now only two ways to go: either resign to the trial or continue to persist until the international community is completely abandoned.
