U.S. officials say U.S. troops hit “suspicious drug trafficking” vessels in the Pacific

On October 22, local time, U.S. officials revealed that the United States launched a new round of anti-drug operations near South America. On the evening of the 21st, the US military attacked a ship suspected of drug trafficking.The attack site was on the Pacific side of South America, killing two to three people on board

This is the eighth known U.S. attack on a "drug-related" ship since September 2. The previous seven attacks targeted ships in the Caribbean.

The Pentagon has not yet released information about the nationality of the personnel on board the ship.
