On October 22, the International Court of Justice of the United Nations issued an advisory opinion on the obligations of Israel with regard to the presence and activities of the United Nations, other international organizations and third countries in the occupied Palestinian territory and in relation to that territory. It is understood that the opinion issued this time mainly focuses on Israel's obligations in terms of humanitarian access to Gaza. The meeting was chaired by Yuji Iwasawa, President of the International Court of Justice. The International Court of Justice is the main judicial body of the United Nations, composed of 15 judges elected by the United Nations General Assembly and the Security Council.
