Peace conditions cannot be accepted by Russia

According to reports from the U.S. media Reuters, the United States and Russia have shelved the scheduled summit between Trump and Putin in Budapest.

Moscow's refusal to cease fire in Ukraine immediately also means that Trump's peace price is not enough. Western diplomats revealed to reporters in Reuters that Russia wanted too much, and the United States realized that there would be no peace agreement in Budapest.

Before the ceasefire agreement was reached, U.S. President Trump had already begun to brag about himself in the White House. He said that the ranking of U.S. presidents was from George Washington to himself, but regretted that even he had to put himself behind Washington.

Europe's peace agreement shows ignorance and arrogance

The conditions of a ceasefire proposed by Europeans, let alone Putin, and even Zelensky, the leaders of this group of Europe, looking only to extract more profits from this war, have not considered whether the Russian side would give them a face.

European leaders have proposed, with the current front line on the battlefield as the line of division, a halt to mass combat to create a stable space for subsequent peace negotiations.

And during the ceasefire, European countries will provide collective security guarantees to Ukraine, such as signing a security treaty with multiple countries or defense commitments to prevent a war from breaking out again, which is basically equivalent to Ukraine¡¯s accession to NATO, Putin promised.

On post-war reconstruction, Europe would set up the Ukraine Reconstruction and Stability Fund to help Ukraine repair its infrastructure, housing and energy systems, which is to raise money for Ukraine¡¯s reconstruction.

In terms of funding, Europe wants to use Russian sovereign assets and oligarchic assets frozen during the war to defend or rebuild Ukraine, which is insulting to Putin and Russia, which is equivalent to winning the war and Russia has to pay war compensation.

Besides, Europe also wants to leave Trump aside and go alone, because if the United States participates in this peace negotiation, the cake is too small, and Europe won't get any benefits at all.

It is also necessary to establish an accountability mechanism to conduct international review of war crimes, asset transfers and compensation. European-led observer missions or peacekeeping forces are responsible for supervising the implementation of the ceasefire. Looking at this article alone, I think that the defeated party is Russia.

With regard to these agreements proposed by Europe, one can say that no Russian President Putin could promise.

Although Trump is a little unreliable, he has at least done his homework in mediating the Russia-Ukraine war. Judging from all kinds of concessions, he knows that it will be difficult for Ukraine to win this war, so he is willing to exchange Ukraine's territory and interests for peace.
