The 158th Joint Enforcement Patrol Operation of the Mekong River

Xinhua Agency, Kunming, October 21 (Reporters Wang Yan and Hu Ran) On the morning of October 21, China's 53106, 53107, and 53108 boats and Lao's 002, 003, and 004 boats set sail from the Jingha Police Pier in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, and joined with two Myanmar law enforcement boats as planned to jointly carry out the 158th China-Laos-Myanmar-Thailand Mekong Joint Patrol Law Enforcement Operation and a series of law enforcement exchange activities.

Before the operation, the relevant law enforcement departments of the four countries held a joint commander meeting and information exchange meeting in Xinjiang, jointly study the recent security situation and cross-border crime situation in the Mekong River basin, consulted joint governance measures, and reached a consensus on the security defense line of the basin,ining the stability of the navigation path.

On October 21, the Chinese law enforcement boats participating in the joint patrol enforcement operation stood by the Shinjuku police terminal and waited for departure.

It is that the three old law enforcement boats that participated in this operation previously arrived in the West Pawn on September 30, conducting a friendly visit to the Yunnan Provincial Public Security Administration water patrol team, and the two sides conduct friendly exchanges around law enforcement boat standardization construction, professional skills training, improvement of law enforcement capabilities and cultural exchanges, further deepen law enforcement cooperation friendship, and enhance the law enforcement professional ability of both sides.
