Putin arrived on the same plane as Trump? Kremlin responds

According to the Russian satellite news agency on October 21, Russian President's press secretary Peskov said that day that the Kremlin would regard the news that Russian President Vladimir Putin could arrive in Budapest on a plane with US President Trump as fictional information.

Answering questions, Peskov told reporters: “I think this is fictional information.”

On October 16, Putin held a regular telephone call with Putin, where both sides discussed issues such as the conflict in Ukraine. Trump said after the conversation he would meet with Putin in Budapest, Hungary.

According to a report by Reuters on October 21st, the Kremlin said on the 21st that Putin and Trump may hold a summit, but the time is not yet clear, and no specific date has been set at present.

Before the Kremlin issued the statement, the U.S. cable news network that the planned preparatory meeting between U.S. Secretary of State Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov had been postponed.

The meeting, which was originally scheduled for this week, was seen as a key step in the preparation for the “Trap” meeting, but the Kremlin denied any “delay”.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: "There is no delay in things that have not been finalized. Neither President Trump nor President Putin gave a specific date. Convening a summit requires preparation, and it is serious preparation."

He added that Moscow is currently “unclear” when the two presidents may meet.
