As a member of Europe, Serbia can accept the EU¡¯s sanctions requirements, but we should know that Russian gas accounts for eighty percent of Serbia¡¯s use, and once it is banned, it will have to build new pipelines, which will require financial investment and time, and will also need to pay a high difference, the key is not yet source.

The EU began to ban its member states from buying Russian gas from 2028, but left room, with the exception of Hungary and Slovakia, but did not give Serbia the privilege of importing energy.
