From October 13 to 18, Wu Haiping, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Customs, led the Chinese Customs Delegation to visit Switzerland, Bulgarian counterparts and relevant international organizations.

The delegation is invited to meet with the Swiss Federal Customs and Border Administration

During the visit, Wu Haiping was invited to hold a ceremonial bishop meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria Tomislav Dontchev; to exchange with the head of the World Trade Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization on issues such as trade facilitation and customs intellectual property protection; to conduct in-depth exchanges with the head of the customs and inspection and sanitation department in Switzerland and Bulgaria on issues such as the implementation of the global governance initiative, the maintenance of the multilateral trade system, the construction of the "Belt and Road" customs food safety mechanism, the transport of foodstuffs to China, the construction of "smart customs" and the enforcement of the law, and to sign a protocol with foreign parties on the importation of foodstuffs into China.

The delegation signed cooperation documents with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Bulgaria

The delegation also conducted symposium exchanges with the heads of the Bulgarian Commercial Industry Association, visited agricultural and food export companies of the two countries, conducted on-site research on the site of customs inspection and sanitation supervision, and exchanged work with the heads of the permanent WTO delegation and comrades in charge of the embassy abroad.
