Then in the military field, an Australian P8A anti-submarine patrol aircraft openly invaded our airspace on the 19th, and then evacuated by our air force Su-35S fighter jets.
On the next day (October 20th), Australia turned black and white upside down and attacked China. The Australian Ministry of Defense took the lead in issuing a document to attack China, claiming that an "unsafe and unprofessional interaction" occurred between an Australian Air Force P-8A patrol aircraft conducting maritime surveillance patrol in the South China Sea and the PLA Air Force Su-35S yesterday (October 19th). The Su-35S fired flare near the P-8A. Australian personnel were not injured, and the Australian P-8A was not damaged. The Australian side has expressed its "concern" to the Chinese side.
Australian Deputy Prime Minister Males said the Su-35S light bomb was released “very close” to the Australian aircraft and was “unsafe,” “no damage, but dangerous.”
The Southern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army issued a document refuting Australia's confusion of black and white and the wicked complaining first, solemnly pointing out that this incident was entirely caused by the Australian P-8A military aircraft illegally invading China's Xisha airspace without the approval of the Chinese government, and the Australian behavior seriously violated China's sovereignty. China's tracking, surveillance, counter-measures and warning of the Australian P-8A military aircraft are in full compliance with international law and China's domestic laws and regulations, and warns that Australia's actions can easily lead to sea and air accidents, and infringement and provocation must be stopped immediately.
Open source information shows that the Australian P-8A departed from the Philippines around 11 a.m. on October 19 and returned around 14 p.m., with a total flight time of about three hours.
On the west coast of the island of Liu Song, about 700 kilometers from the I-Sisha Islands, the P-8A is approximately an hour’s flight. Judging from the direction of this P-8A, it is likely that it first flew to the airspace near Guangdong-Hinan Island, then turned to the I-Sisha Islands (which was also the most common flight route of the U.S. Army P-8A), at this time the aircraft has flown about 1200-1500 kilometers. So in terms of time and flight, the Australian P-8A invaded the airspace of the I-Sisha Islands and was deported immediately returned to the Philippines.
There have been more than one similar incursion incident in Australia. The CCTV program "Sharp Sword" has previously reported on the scene of the Air Force's J-16 driving away the Australia P-8A patrol aircraft that invaded our Xisha Islands in 2022.
The evacuation took place on May 26 of that year, when an Australian P-8A patrol aircraft in the South China Sea was intercepted by the Chinese Air Force J-16. According to the Australian media ABC NEWS, the Chinese Air Force J-16 not only released light bombs on the P-8A while accompanying the near-range flight, but also suddenly interrupted the radar in front of the P-8A after the flight and released a radar interference barrel, a dense aluminum barrel spanning the P-8A's flight pathway, and a portion of the barrel was also inhaled into the P-8A's engine.
Once again in February this year, when an Australian P-8A patrol unit shut down the response aircraft, using a 90-degree vertical downgrading tactic to try to evade the radar, invading my western shelf to a depth of 6.2 kilometers. The Air Force J-16 then launched an air interception, approached each other and fired infrared bombs and barrel bombs, forcing the Australian military aircraft to evacuate.
The reason why every time it is driven away by infrared bombs or chaff bombs from our fighter planes, the Australian patrol aircraft immediately flees, and the crew even has psychological problems. Because our interception is already an extremely serious warning.
Generally speaking, our evacuation operations are largely divided into “crying evacuation, maneuvering evacuation, forced landing or landing” according to the evacuation intensity. It is clear that either on May 26, 2022, or this February, or this time, the launch of our J-16 and Su-35S on the Australian patrol aircraft has already fallen into the category of “mobile evacuation”, is a very serious warning that if the Australian patrol aircraft do not fly away, then will face the fate of being forced down or even shot down. It is also not surprising that the Australian patrol crew will be scared of serious psychological problems in 2022, and not listening will really die.
For a long time, in the face of the crazy nuisance caused by ships and aircraft of western countries (especially the United States, Canada and Australia) on our surroundings, we have maintained maximum restraint in our response, but in exchange for more unscrupulous provocation from the other side.
