Japan's prime minister's nomination elections are held in both houses of the congress, in the first round of voting, the majority of votes can be elected; if no one gets more than half the number of votes, the top two will go to the second round of voting, the most votes won.

The self-government party currently has 196 seats in the House of Representatives of 465 seats, the Japan Vichy Party has 35 seats; the self-government party has 100 seats in the Senate of all 248 seats, and the Japan Vichy Party has 19 seats.
