On the same day, Pakpur sent a letter to Yusuf Hassan Madani, the new chief of general staff of the Houthi armed forces, congratulating him on his appointment. Pakpur pointed out that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps will continue to support the Resistance Front in its struggle to liberate Jerusalem. He also stated that the Revolutionary Guards were fully prepared to further strengthen cooperation with the Houthi armed forces in the struggle against global hegemony and the Israeli regime.
