The French Louvre Museum announced on October 20 that it will remain closed on the same day.

The Louvre Museum in Paris, France, was robbed on the morning of October 19th, and the museum then announced that it would be temporarily closed for one day.

French police investigation preliminary clues and information from the Louvre inside revealed that in the early morning of the 19th, several covered suspects broke into the Louvre from the construction area on the side of the Seine River, using an elevator into the Apollo gallery exhibition area, and broke glass and stole several collections. According to French media reports, the suspect eventually stole eight jewelry from the Napoleonic era, including necklaces, brushes, earrings, etc. Another jewelry was left outside the museum during the suspect's escape, and has now been retrieved.
