At least three people, including one student, were injured in a shooting at Oklahoma State University in the early morning, which is believed to have been linked to a dispute at an outside school party earlier.

The school police officer Michael Beckner that the school police received a scheduled call from the local police to find out that someone was shot down at a McDonald¡¯s gate a few kilometers from the university. The school police were alerted when they rushed to the scene for emergency relief, and learned that the university campus was shooting. They arrived at the campus at 3:40 am, but no dead people were found at the scene, many were driving away.

ABC quoted a campus police statement as saying that the shooting occurred in the parking lot in front of the university's Karek East dormitory. During the investigation, the police learned that two injured people were sent to two local hospitals.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that after a large private party was held near the school, some of the participants returned to the Carlec East dormitory, where there was a shooting incident, due to the ¡°disagreement¡± of several people at the party.

Police have not arrested any suspects yet, but have found "certain clues" and sought public assistance.
